Police Investigate Shooting In Hermon

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in Hermon Monday evening.

According to the BDN, deputies responded to a report of an accidental shooting at around 5:20 yesterday. A man, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital and, at last report, was in critical condition.

Few details have been released, but officials say there's no threat to the public.
