There have been no injuries reported in two separate fires last night that have damaged an apartment building in Old Town and a wildlife sanctuary museum in Ellsworth.

The Ellsworth fire was reported just after 6 last night at the Standwood Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Birdsacre.

The Ellsworth Fire Department reports no one was hurt but the museum portion of the structure on site sustained heavy fire damage. An investigator with the State Fire Marshal's Office will be arriving later this morning to determine a cause for the fire.

Ellsworth was assisted by Trenton, Lamoine and Hancock fire crews.

The Old Town fire was reported just before 10 last night at an apartment building on Chapman Street.

Old Town received support from Milford, Orono, and Bangor fire departments.

The cause of that blaze is also under investigation.
