A truck driver was taken to the hospital after he crashed his rig in northern Maine on Tuesday.

Maine State Police say David Stoll of Buffalo, New York lost control of the semi on Route 161 in Crosslake, near the New Canada town line.

The semi jackknifed and came to rest against a rock wall.

The 59-year-old Stoll was treated and released from the hospital after experiencing chest pains.

The semi was totaled.

Police say the snowy road conditions played a role in the accident.
