If you have a smartphone, you gotta know how tempting it is to leave it alone while you're driving. Once the sound goes off signaling a call or text message, the immediate reaction is to look at the phone. Unfortunately, distracted driving crashes are on the increase because of phones and other devices. Some of the crashes are proving deadly. But one tech provider is doing something about it. This is a must have for anyone with a smartphone, especially young drivers.

Samsung has developed an app that will hide calls, texts, and other notifications when the car you are driving reaches a speed of 12 mph. Now while it may not be the perfect solution, at least one company is doing something about it.
