Ice Castles New Hampshire

An acre of frozen winter wonderland will open for the season this week.

The New Hampshire Ice Castle is set to open for the season. The opening date is Friday, January 11. This season the New Hampshire Ice Castle is located at 24 Clark Farm Road in North Woodstock. The new location is just a few miles from its former location at the Hobo Railroad in Lincoln. Currently the Ice Castle is open Tuesday-Saturday.

This year's castle features massive turrets, archways, tunnels, ice slides and fountains that are lit with colored LED lights frozen into the ice. A new addition this year is visitors can purchase tickets for a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

Over the last five seasons, the Lincoln Ice Castle in New Hampshire has exploded in popularity. So much so that the castle creators, Ice Castles LLC, has purchased a 80 acre plot of undeveloped land in North Woodstock to be the permanent home of the frozen fortress. The move will be made in future seasons.
