RaeLynn fans hoping for her new album as a Christmas gift this holiday season will have to wait a little bit longer.

The singer has revealed that she will be pushing back her forthcoming album WildHorse, originally slotted for release on Dec. 2, into next year due to some "big news."

“We were initially targeting a release for this year but an amazing opportunity has come along that’s changed the way I’m thinking about my debut album launch,” RaeLynn says in a press release. “The big news will be coming soon. I am SO excited to share it with you all and make 2017 the year of the WILDHORSE!”

Upon the announcement of her new album in September, the singer promised that, “every lyric takes you through a part of my journey these last four years.”

“This record is my college experience in a lot of ways," she says. "I graduated from high school, moved away from my parents, and started a life on my own. I fell in love, had my heart broken and then found love again. I married the man of my dreams and now we’re starting a life together. All the highs and lows from these last four years are here."

While the "Love Triangle" singer has been mum on this "amazing opportunity," she has been busy with appearances on The Voice. On Tuesday (Nov. 15), the singer visited the set where she got her start and spent the day speaking with the coaches, her mentor, Blake Shelton, and Carson Daly for an upcoming feature.

"It was such a fun day talking with everyone about season 11 of The Voice and getting to share music from my new album," said season 2 contestant RaeLynn. "Blake has been such a great champion for me and spending time with Blake, Adam and Carson was hilarious. I got to meet and chat with Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus and they are such incredible artists and women. That show is really something special!"

According to iTunes, Wildhorse is now scheduled for release on June 30, 2017.
