Q Listener Wins ‘Son of the Year’ Award; Gets Tattoo So Mom Can Meet Kenny Chesney [VIDEO]

Delan Patterson listens to Q106.5 every day at work. When he decided to enter our "What would you do to meet Kenny Chesney?" contest, he thought he didn't have a chance.

"I signed up not thinking I was going to win, seeing all these other crazy ones," said Patterson, referring to the more than 100 submissions we received, some of which were, let's say, unusual.

While lots of people said they'd get tattoos in order to meet the country music superstar, Delan wanted get one so his mom, a huge Kenny Chesney fan, could finally meet one of her favorite artists of all time!

The folks at Diversified Ink in Bangor were kind enough to hook Delan up with a sweet Q106.5 tattoo. Thanks to Harley, one of the many great artists at Diversified, for staying late and doing such a great job!
