Looking for a kid friendly event this weekend?   Head to the Cross Insurance Center Sunday for the 13th annual Pumpkins in the Park to benefit UCP of Maine.

Since it is their 13th year, the theme is superstition. I am picturing lots of black cat and broken mirrors. But I am sure we’ll have plenty of fun to seeing how all the different groups interpret the theme.

One of the beauties of this event in Maine in October is that it is always a warm, safe, community Halloween party for children. Expect to see hundreds of glowing jack-o’-lanterns plus, two bounce houses, face painting,, clowns, balloon-tying, portrait photos and trick-or-treating. The event runs from Noon  - 5PM.

Proceeds assist UCP of Maine in supporting the needs of children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in your area.

Admission for the event is $3 Per Person (Kids under 3 are FREE) and $10 Family Rate
