Police in Augusta are asking residents to use caution while traveling this morning after a power outage knocked out some traffic lights.

Lieutenant Christopher Massey says power has been restored to the Riverside Drive corridor with Routes 201 and 3. But the lights at the large intersection of Riverside Drive/Route 201 and Route 3 are on flash and can't be set to their normal cycle at this time.

Drivers are urged to be careful and proceed cautiously this morning. Wind and rain are making visibility very poor and the outage is just making it even more treacherous.
