About 2,700 customers in Bangor and Hampden lost power late Monday morning, according to Emera Maine.

According to the outages were mostly the result of strong winds bringing trees and tree limbs down onto power lines.

About 2,300 customers in Bangor were affected by the outage, which took place at 11:43 a.m. Some of the affected streets include Webster Avenue, Bass Park, Broadway, Lower Main and Fourteenth Street.

About 400 customers were affected in Hampden.

Power was restored by about 12:30 p.m., according to the website.
