Portland’s State Theatre Evacuated After Concert-goer Is Injured

Nearly 2,000 people were evacuated from Portland's State Theatre over the weekend, after police learned someone was injured during a concert.

The Dirty Heads concert was nearly sold out when police were called just after 11:00 Sunday night. Once police learned that a man had been injured, the theatre was evacuated and the man taken to the hospital. So far, police haven't said how the man was hurt but WMTW-TV reports he was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. His identity has not been released.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident, but police say there's no risk to the public.
