Portland Police say they're investigating a death that appears to be suspicious.

The death was reported at around 10:00 Sunday evening at a home on Dorothy Street. So far, police have only said that there's one victim and no threat to the public. There's no word on how many people were at the residence at the time of the death, but police did say that children who had been in the home are safe and unharmed.

According to the Portland Press Herald, the home is owned by Anthony Leng and his wife, Sokha Khuon. The couple lives there with their three children. Investigators have been searching in and around the house, including one who was wearing a hazmat suit.

So far, no arrests have been made. Police are conducting interviews and working with the State Medical Examiner, who will determine the cause and manner of the death.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
