Portland Jetport Runways Closed After Emergency Landing

Anyone traveling through Portland this afternoon will want to check their flight status after a small plane made a hard landing this morning.

WABI-TV reports emergency crews are working to remove the twin engine plane that landed on its belly today. There's no word on why the landing gear didn't lower before landing. It doesn't appear that anyone was hurt in the crash, but airport officials expected the runways to be closed until around 12:30

Folks planning to fly out of Portland this afternoon will want to check with their airlines to make sure the emergency hasn't delayed their flight.
