A South Portland man faces multiple charges after police seized cocaine and several stolen guns.

Maine Drug Enforcement agents arrested 25-year-old Khang Tran during a traffic stop on Main Street in South Portland on Wednesday afternoon. Tran was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested without incident for an outstanding arrest warrant, charging two counts of trafficking in crack cocaine. During the arrest, agents seized approximately 16 grams of cocaine powder and $3,560 in suspected drug proceeds from Tran.

He was taken to Cumberland County Jail before agents searched his apartment at 278 Lincoln Street in South Portland. Seized from his residence were one-and-a-half pounds of cocaine powder and three loaded handguns. Police say two of the handguns were stolen from Portland and Scarborough. The street value of the cocaine is $50,000.

Trans is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
