State Police are asking for the public's help locating two women. They're wanted for questioning in connection with the stabbing of a third woman last night.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says Katherine Hopkins, age 24 of Waterville was stabbed last night in the town of China. Now, police are looking for 23-year-old Carrisa Butkewicz and 20-year-old Tiffany Glidden, both of Waterville, for questioning in the case.

According to the press release, Hopkins was listed in critical, but stable condition at MaineGeneral in Augusta. Troopers say that Hopkins was stabbed while sitting in a vehicle on the Neck Road in China at around 6:45 p.m. There's no word on the connection between the women or motives for the stabbing.
