The driver involved in a high-speed chase overnight may be the same sought by police in Maine and New Hampshire for another similar incident.

WMTW-TV reports the chase that started late Sunday night included speeds of 100 miles per hour and traveled through several towns. Police tried to pull the vehicle over in Rumford, but it continued on into Jay, Livermore Falls, and Fayette. While the car was eventually found on Bamford Hill Road in Fayette, the driver had taken off.

Police believe the driver is Michael Gatcomb, who they say has several warrants out for his arrest. However, they didn't say whether it's the same Michael Gatcomb (pictured above) who is currently sought by Maine and New Hampshire Police for a high speed chase that crossed the border just before Christmas.

In that case, New Hampshire began pursuing a Michael Gatcomb in New Hampshire and the chase ended in York, Maine when the driver ran into the woods.
