Augusta Police are asking for the public's help identifying the person who robbed a Subway restaurant on Tuesday.

Officials were alerted to the robbery at approximately 3:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Subway restaurant on Bangor Street. Witnesses said a suspect, dressed in a light-colored hoodie and glasses, demanded money from the clerk. They then fled the scene, with an undisclosed amount of cash, in a dark-colored SUV. No one was injured in the incident.

Police are sharing the suspect's picture, taken from surveillance video, in hopes that someone will recognize the person. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Augusta Police at (207) 626-2370, extension 3418.
