State Police continue their investigation into a case of child sexual abuse and one man has been arrested and charged with the crime.

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says Benjamin Rossignol of Stockholm was arrested earlier this month and made his initial court appearance last week.

McCausland says the Computer Crimes Task Force was alerted by federal investigators after Rossignol allegedly posted the photos of the 1 month old infant online.

The infant girl is now safe.

Rossignol’s bail is set at $10,000 and if he makes bail he cannot have unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16 according to McCausland.

His next court appearance is set for February.
