Police Release Name Of Pedestrian Killed In Corinth Accident

Officials say it was a local man who died while walking along Route 15 in Corinth Friday night, when he was hit by a truck.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 37-year-old Brandon Henderson of Corinth. He was walking south on Route 15, just north of the White School House Road Friday evening at around 7:00 when the accident happened. A pickup traveling northbound, driven by 51-year-old Robert Webb of Dover-Foxcroft struck Henderson. Authorities say Henderson was killed instantly.

Mr. Webb is cooperating with investigators. Reconstruction and forensic mapping is being conducted by the Sheriff’s Office, as well. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Corinth Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance, and Maine State Police.
