Police Release Name of Man Who Fell From Hospital Window

Portland Police say the man who jumped or fell from a sixth story window of Maine Medical Center was being treated for injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

According to WLBZ-TV, 43-year-old Paul Cady died Tuesday afternoon, just after 5:00, when he either jumped or fell from the hospital window. Cady has been in the hospital since a motorcycle accident in February, spending part of that time in an induced coma.

Paul's daughter Miranda has set up a GoFundME page to help cover expenses.

The death is still under investigation but police don't suspect foul play.
