Police Now Say Westbrook Death Not Suspicious

Police now say the death of a woman whose body was found in her Westbrook apartment is not suspicious in nature.

Centralmaine.com reports that autopsy results show that 42-year-old Michelle Minor died of a medical event. There's no word, however, on what kind of 'medical event' led to her death. Minor's body was discovered in her Brown Street apartment Sunday morning.

Police originally believed that her death may have been suspicious but Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland now says there's no sign of foul play. Conclusive results about her cause of death are pending further testing, including toxicology tests that could take two weeks.

The building's landlord told the paper that Minor and her live-in boyfriend were responsible tenants and described her as 'very nice.'
