A Norridgewock man was arrested over the weekend after police say he threatened to kill his former girlfriend and her children.

Police say the incident occurred on Martin Stream Road in Norridgewock on Sunday.

Noah Weeks, 32, is charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening, criminal mischief and assault, reports the Kennebec Journal.

Weeks told those involved that he would cut them up and kill them, according to a press release from Chief Deputy James Ross of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.

The release also says Weeks punched a man several times and smashed a car window by throwing knives it.

The disturbance was reported at about 8:30 p.m. Ross said Weeks fled the scene on foot just before police arrived. Sheriff’s deputies, state troopers and a K9 later located weeks at a home on a Mechanic Street, where he was taken into custody without incident.
