Police Investigate Deadly Shooting In Westbrook

A 50-year-old woman was found shot to death inside her Westbrook home Monday night.

Norma Bridges was found dead inside her residence at 40 Falmouth Street, state police said Tuesday morning.

Westbrook police responded to her home at about 9 p.m.

They believe they have recovered the gun that was involved in the shooting.

Police have released no further information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Bridges body will be sent to the Maine medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
