Police say they have identified two of the three men wanted in connection with robbing a medical marijuana patient. The men have not yet been apprehended but arrest warrants have been issued.

State Police circulated security camera pictures of two of the men who allegedly stole pot plants from a patient in Winterport. Three men dressed as members of law enforcement entered the man's property, waving a handgun. When the owner confronted the trio verbally, they grabbed armloads of plants and ran.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release that two of the men have been identified as 47-year-old Jeffrey Hurd and 35-year-old Scott Roberts, both of Glenburn. Both men are considered armed and dangerous.

Hurd, who troopers say was brandishing a handgun during the robbery, is 5'6" tall. Roberts is 5'11" and police say both men weigh over 200 pounds.

Warrants have been issued for both Roberts and Hurd, who are charged with robbery and impersonating a police officer. The third man wanted in connection with the robbery does not have an arrest warrant at this point, since his face was not clear in the surveillance photos.

Anyone with information on the suspects' whereabouts should call State Police in Augusta at 624-7076 or call 911.
