Police Attempting To Locate Missing Motorcyclist

UPDATE: Mr. Colpitts has been found safe.

Police on Wednesday said they are searching for a Levant man who last seen at operating his black sport touring motorcycle.

Mr. Colpitts is described as being 5’10" tall, 175 pounds with gray hair and green eyes.

He was last seen at about 11 a.m. wearing a blue shirt with red stripes and blue pants.

It’s unknown if he is wearing a helmet.

Police would like to check on his well being. Those with information are asked to contact the Penobscot county Sheriff's Office at 945-4636.
