Police: Attack On Missing Chicken Wasn’t Gang Related

Bangor Police are looking for the owner of a chicken recently found wandering around the Grandview Avenue, according to a Facebook post from Sgt. Tim Cotton.

Cotton asks if "you have chickens, could you check your hen house to see if this chicken is missing?"

Police hope the owner comes forward because "It was carrying no identification."

"It was recovered last week after being assaulted by unknown, chicken hating, youth," Cotton posted. "We do not believe it was gang related."

Cotton says the animal is currently being cared for at a small farm and is doing well.
