Pickup Truck Crashes Into Local Church

A Stacyville man was taken to the hospital after police say he crashed into a church on Saturday.

Robert Catlin, 47, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident in Sherman.

Police say he was driving east on Main Street when he went straight through a fork in the road, narrowly missed a piece on construction equipment and crashed into the church.

Police say speed was likely a factor.

No major damage to the church was reported.
