Phish Will Kick Off Summer Tour in Bangor [VIDEO]

Phish announced Tuesday it will kick off its summer 2013 tour in Bangor.

The Burlington, Vt.-based jam band will play Wednesday, July 3 at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion on the Bangor Waterfront.

Phish, one of the world's most popular touring acts, has played three major festivals in Maine. Combined, those shows in 1997, 1998 and 2003 at the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone drew nearly 200,000 people to the small Aroostook County town. More recently, Phish has played smaller shows in Portland and Augusta.

Darling's Waterfront Pavillion in Bangor holds about 16,000 people.

General admission tickets are $60 and will be available starting March 30 at Waterfront Concerts. Pre-sale tickets are available now through March 24.
