Peace Game Invented by Teacher for 4th Graders, Teaching What Should Be Taught

His name is John Hunter. He is a 4th grade teacher in Virginia who decided that it was time to teach kids critical thinking skills with the end result of world peace. A pretty heady task.

His invention is a multi-tiered, four by four by four plexiglass structure full of all the elements and icons necessary to tackle and try to solve the world's problems to prevent war. As Hunter will explain in the CBS Morning News video, there is always a bad guy that is working to sabotage peace efforts, and the students never know who it might be on any given day.

Given all the troubling news today about wars and rumors of wars, it's comforting to know that a teacher is working in advance to instill peace within our youth.
