Patten Recreation Center Burglarized

State Police say someone broke into the Patten Recreation Center this week.

Employees with the town of Patten discovered Monday that someone had burglarized the Recreation Center. The crooks forced their way in and did a considerable amount of damage. In addition, several items were stolen, including cash.

Police say this is the second time in recent months that the center has been burglarized. Anyone with information about those responsible is asked to contact Trooper Jared Sylvia at the Maine State Police barracks in Houlton at (207) 532-5400.
