Parmalee have a brand-new single to share: The song, called "Sunday Morning," comes from the group's upcoming album.

"Sunday Morning" was co-written by Parmalee lead singer Matt Thomas, Ross Copperman and Josh Osborne. The song illustrates the importance of having someone in your corner to keep you level when things start going a little sideways.

"When I'm lost on a Saturday night / Baby, you save me / Just like Sunday morning," Parmalee sing in "Sunday Morning." Readers can press play below to hear the full song.

“The song is about getting back to that one person who makes you feel easy ... the one that brings the crazy down a notch," Thomas explains in a press release. "It’s kinda like waking up on a calm Sunday morning."

Parmalee last released an album, Feels Like Carolina, at the end of 2013. The group is eager to share their next record, but they're prepared to not release it until everything is just right.

“We’ve been working on it, just trying to wrap it up,” Thomas tells The Boot. “But you know how it is in Nashville: You’re about to finish the album and an amazing song comes down the pike, or you write an amazing song, [and] it’s like, ‘We’ve got to put this song on the record,’ and something gets bumped out of the way.”

"Sunday Morning" is available for purchase via iTunes, Amazon and more. More information about Parmalee, including a list of upcoming shows, can be found on their official website.
