Two people are now facing drug trafficking charges after a man died of a suspected overdose.

WGME-TV reports the investigation started with the death of 52-year-old Christopher Delano of Cushing. His body was found Tuesday morning by a friend and police believe he died of an overdose. Reports of suspected drug activity led them to another home in the same town.

Deputies and drug agents executed a search warrant at that residence and arrested 43-year-old Karl Crute, Jr., and 45-year-old Ranae Robbins. Also seized at that residence were heroin, $1,000 in cash, a loaded semi-automatic rifle, handguns, and drug paraphernalia.
