An Orrington woman is facing charges, including manslaughter, for an accident that killed her passenger last spring. Sarah Courtney, 33, of Orrington rolled her SUV on the Bog Road in Hermon in April.

Sarah Eason, 28, was killed when Courtney lost control of her Ford Explorer and flipped it over on the Bog Road in Hermon. Eason, who police don't believe was wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle. Courtney, who police think was belted in, had no visible injuries after the crash.

Courtney was indicted this month and faces up to 30 years in prison on the manslaughter charge. She's also charged with aggravated criminal operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.
