The Penobscot County Grand Jury on Wednesday indicted an Orono man in the kidnapping and murder of Glenburn teenager Nichole Cable.

Kyle Dube, 20, was charged last week with intentional or knowing murder in the slaying of Cable, a 15-year-old sophomore at Old Town High School. Cable disappeared on Mother's Day after reportedly telling her mother that she was going to meet someone at the end of her driveway.

Cable's body was found in an a wooded area in Old Town several days later. Before the discovery, hundreds of volunteers helped to search for the missing teen.

Dube has been held without bail since turning himself in on unrelated charges.

An arraignment date has not been set. If convicted, Dube faces between 25 years and life in prison.
