Once more New York state is going after the cigarette companies by considering the option to hike the minimum age to 21! Of course there's an outcry of unfairness. The old argument that states that the U.S. government will stick a gun in your hand and send you off to war at the age of 18, and yet you can't buy booze or smokes until you're 21 years of age still wages on.

If you think the whole thing is ridiculous, consider that a gentleman at the University of Australia is pushing to have a law passed that will require smokers to carry a license for the priviledge.

I understand what they are trying to do. Health problems caused by smoking have skyrocketed, and the problem only seems to get worse instead of better.

What say you?
