A Fort Fairfield man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday. Police say he wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.

State Police responded after learning of a single vehicle crash on the Conant Road in Easton and a man lying in the street. Jamey Kennedy, age 27 of Fort Fairfield, was reportedly driving his Toyota east when he lost control of the car heading into a curve. The vehicle went into a ditch, became airborne, and then rolled several times before coming to rest on its passenger side. Kennedy was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

The crash is under investigation by State Police. Assisting agencies included the Fort Fairfield Police Department, Aroostook County Sheriff's Office, Easton Fire Department, and Crown Ambulance.
