One person was killed in a head-collision in Eddington Friday evening.

According to the BDN, 18-year-old Brandon Cook was killed when his vehicle veered into the oncoming lane and struck an SUV, driven by 24-year-old Abby Reynolds of Old Town.

Reynolds and two passengers in Cook's vehicle, 16-year-old Alexis McKenzie and 17-year-old Avery Hallahan, suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.

The accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Riverside Drive, also known as Route 178. Traffic was shut down for hours while police investigated and cleared the scene.
