Police have arrested one man and are looking for a second suspect in connection with an alleged robbery and assault in Old Town.

Captain Lee Miller said in a press release that police received a call from Eastern Maine Medical Center just before 2 a.m. Friday about an assault that happened at 799 Stillwater Avenue in Old Town.

Police say the victim was asleep when two suspects woke him up. The two people allegedly assaulted and robbed him of his money. The victim has facial injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.

Police say the victim identified one of his alleged attackers as Aaron Coker of Bangor. He was arrested Friday night and charged with Class A robbery. He's being held at Penobscot County Jail on $25,000 bail.

The other suspect has not been identified and is currently sought by police. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Norton at 827-3984.
