One Dead In Lowell UTV Accident

A female passenger in a UTV is dead following an accident in Lowell on Saturday. 

Major Chris Cloutier with the Maine Warden Service reports the accident happened just before 8:00 Saturday night on the WARP Road in Lowell. A 2017 Bombardier Maverick X3 UTV being driven by 19-year-old Parker Gardner of Lincoln flipped over as Gardner attempted a 'power turn.'

A female passenger sitting in the back of the vehicle was seriously hurt and died at the scene. Family members of the victim are still being notified and so her name has not yet been released.

The Maine Warden Service is being assisted by the Penobscot County Sheriff's office and the Maine State Police in the investigation of the accident.
