One Dead In Early Morning Orneville Fire
One person is dead following a house fire early Tuesday morning in Orneville.
The State Fire Marshal's office has not yet released the identity of the victim, but confirmed to WABI-TV that the body of a man was found inside the house. The fire on Little Boyd Lake Road was called in by a neighbor at around 1:30, and crews responded to find the house already engulfed in flames. Two dogs also perished in the blaze.
This is the third fire-related fatality in less than a week in Maine. 88-year-old Harold Young was killed in a house fire in Surry. And a house fire last Wednesday in Union claimed the life of 80-year-old Lawrence Dries.
