On the Netflix series 'Orange is the New Black,' Uzo Aduba plays the character known as 'Crazy Eyes,' who's usually too afraid to sing in public. But when the actress visited 'The View' recently she showed that she really can sing with a beautiful operatic voice!

I'm totally addicted to 'Orange is the New Black.' It's such an interesting study in human behaviors, from pack mentalities to class and racial discord. Plus, it's got a soap opera feel to it that hooks you with complicated story lines and flashbacks to the prisoners' past lives.

My favorite character is the woman played by Uzo Aduba. Suzanne Warren, also knows as Crazy Eyes, who's a basically sweet woman with some serious psychological issues. I love the latest story line where another prisoner has a crush on her, and hated when she was being controlled by the character known as V. And Suzanne's anxiety when expected to sing at a Christmas pageant brought a tear to my eyes.

The anxiety fit the storyline perfectly but, still, it's too bad they didn't let her sing. Check out Aduba's performance on 'The View' recently, when she was asked to perform a 'little opera.' Wow!

I'm including both the video from 'The View' and a clip from OITNB. I'll warn you that the clip with Crazy Eyes has a little strong language. (It was the cleanest I could find from this show!)
