A Brooklyn, New York man was arrested on drug trafficking charges in Woodland on Friday.

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland says 30-year-old Michael Trader distributed Oxycodone in the greater Caribou area.

McCausland said Trader would make monthly trips from New York to The County to distribute the drug.

Police say Trader was arrested Friday after he entered The Country with more pills.

Over the course of their investigation, drug agents allegedly seized 200 Oxycodone tablets with a street value of $6,000.

Trader is being held at the Aroostook County Jail $25,000 bail.

police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
