26-year-old Marie Holmes is a mother of four who had to quit her jobs at WalMart and McDonald's to care for her kids, one of whom has Cerebral Palsy. And now, she's also a millionaire! Holmes is one of three to hit the jackpot with the $584 Powerball drawing on Wednesday.

I love this story because I always hope the money goes to a person or family who can really use it. Someone for whom the money will make a huge, positive difference in their lives. Not a wealthy person who really doesn't need the extra cash. And Marie is exactly what I always hoped for.

She will receive $188 million dollars, before taxes, over the course of thirty years. Or, if she takes the cash payout, it's worth $127 million before taxes. Marie says she'll give some money to her church, buy a new house, and set up college funds for her kids. Holmes said she would confer with lawyers and financial experts before going to claim her huge prize. Check out the video where she talks about what the winnings mean to her. Awesome!
