A New Limerick man who was sought by deputies has been located and arrested on a Domestic Violence charge.

According to the BDN, Michael Cullins was arrested on Sunday at a home in Easton after police got a tip that he was there. The 26-year-old has been charged with Domestic Violence Threatening with a Weapon. Officials say other charges may be added once they complete their investigation.

Cullins had been sought by law enforcement after an incident in New Limerick on January 10th. Late last week, the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office shared a picture of Cullins on social media, asking for the public's help in locating him. A picture of a woman named Crista Nelson was also shared, as police were trying to do a welfare check on her. She has since been contacted and assured officials that she's okay.
