As someone who is basically a disembodied voice in people's radios and computers, this movie fascinates me. In a new Spike Jonze movie, Joaquin Phoenix plays a man who falls in love with an automated voice. But she's no voicemail recording! She interacts with him throughout the day.

Phoenix plays a man who is heartbroken after a break-up and feeling lonely. So he's intrigued by a new advanced operating system that promises a unique individual entity for each user. That's how he meets 'Samantha.'

'Her' looks sweet, touching, and sad all at the same time. The music in the trailer is beautiful. And the performances look top-notch. Set to release on December 18th, I can't wait to see it!
