Neil Hilborn’s Poem Demonstrates the Frustrations of OCD (Video)

This just may be the most powerful poem I have ever seen performed. Watch as Neil Hilborn describes the excitement, angst, and final heartbreak of falling in love while suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

The video is taking the internet by storm! And it's encouraging others to share their own stories of living with limitations.

Did you ever see the movie "As Good As It Gets?" Jack Nicholson plays a man suffering from OCD who falls in love with a beautiful waitress, who is dealing with her own struggles. In the movie, it's a happy ending. But as this poem demonstrates, that's a Hollywood ending.

Neil first performed this poem, titled "OCD" at the 2013 Rustbelt Regional Poetry Slam. He recently said on Reddit that since he wrote the poem two years ago, he's found love.
