The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Monday night, with temperatures dipping back down to negative double digits in Bangor and eastern Maine.

Forecasters say cold winds will drive down the temperature in eastern Maine to 10-below to 20-below zero. The advisory includes the towns of Bangor, Brewer, Orono, Old Town, Calais,  Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Bucksport, and Machias.

The wind chill advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Make sure you wear a hat and gloves. Forecasters warn the cold wind chills
can cause frostbite to exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
