A 25-year-old man has died from injuries suffered in a crash at the Naples Shopping Center last week.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says Keegan Eldridge of Naples was pronounced dead over the weekend.

Deputies say Eldridge was driving on Route 302 when he crashed into a snowbank at the shopping center on Jan. 25. His car went off the road, struck an embankment and became airborne. The vehicle came to rest after it struck a large sign post.

Eldridge was taken to Bridgton Hospital with a serious head injury. He was later taken by LifeFlight to Central Maine Medical Center.

Deputies say Eldridge was not wearing a seat belt and speed was likely a factor in the crash.
