My Favorite TV Mom (Video)

Mother's Day is this weekend and so I started thinking about television Moms. I think everyone has their own favorite. The Mom they wish they had....or the kind of Mom they hope to be. My favorite is Sophia Petrillo from the Golden Girls. She's funny, sassy, and full of energy, even at 80 years old. I hope I'm like that when I'm an old lady!

This is one of my favorite "Sophia" scenes from that classic show. In typical fashion, Sophia relays a story of life in Cicely, (Picture it!) And even though the story makes absolutely no sense at all, everyone at the table takes away their own version of its wisdom. Any mother will tell you, sometimes you just have to lead the children to their own conclusions. They know the answer....you just need to guide them to it!
