Multiple Accidents Reported On I-95 In Hallowell

State police say ten vehicles were involved in 4 separate crashes on Inveterate 95 in Hallowell Tuesday.

"The crashes have caused backups in the southbound lanes," Maine State Police said in a news release just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. "Several wreckers are on scene to remove the vehicles."

Police said some minor injuries were reported.

The release did not say what led up to the accidents.
